Women’s safety in Delhi has always been at stake, as we encounter numerous rape cases & harassments on a daily basis. The stalkers, molesters & rapists always manage a swift victorious escape & the question remains unanswered. How many more girls, women of our community will be subjected to fear, anxiety resulting from such harassments & molestations.

We, at Durga Saptashati have picked up groups of growing young girls & women from the surrounding areas to teach them- self defence, to make them aware of the consequences they may have to face on Delhi roads. Our Police Teams frequents our NGO office to teach the children how to analyse a good or a bad touch, working efficiently towards women’s safety in Delhi.

We run & carry out lots of inspirational & motivational programmes to inspire young girls & women to stay bold, motivated & not to fear any threat or harassment. We guide them to always reach out to their parents incase they apprehend some unusual forced communication. Hence, women’s safety in Delhi has been our prime concern.

We also hold frequent sessions – where the less privileged community is invited as whole families. We do this with the intention of taking surveys- about how many people are there in one family, so we know the general statistics that every young girl is surrounded by family members & that she is not alone.

Every NGO has it’s own ways of working towards enriching the community with meaningful pursuits & Durga Saptashati Foundation is no exception! The values of Durga Saptashati enfold care, compassion, safety, & support for the ones who need us! We love to protect the girls, women & children from unwanted hands, & we strive everyday to achieve better in these pursuits.
