Sandhya Singh’s Beliefs & Vision | Social Work in Delhi
From Vision to Reality: The Guiding Principles
I firmly believe that knowledge, education, and collective efforts are the catalysts for meaningful change. They are the cornerstone of my approach to social activism. By fostering collaboration and understanding, we can pave the way for tangible improvements in our communities.
My focus areas reflect these belifs :
1) My Belief in Women’s Empowerment and Safety
In a city where women often face various challenges, empowering them is crucial for societal progress. Through awareness campaigns, self-defence classes, free education, and reliable advocacy, my NGO is striving to create a safer and more inclusive environment for women in Dwarka, Delhi.
2) My Commitment to Child Safety and Education
Children are our future, and their safety is our collective responsibility. My initiatives aim to provide children with safe spaces to learn, play, and grow. Through partnerships with schools, community organisations, and local authorities, we implement initiatives that prioritise child safety and well-being.
3) My Belief in Food Security and Community Health
Delhi ranks among the most populated cities in the world, with more than half of its population below the poverty line. My team of volunteers and I are working towards eliminating hunger and food-related diseases in Dwarka by equipping deprived people with nutritious food and raising awareness about food health, personal hygiene, and cleanliness. Not only this, but we also conduct frequent food-donation drives in Dwarka for economically marginalised people.
In each of these areas, our efforts are grounded in the belief that education and the right knowledge empower individuals and communities to effect lasting change. By equipping people with the information and resources they need, we’re building a brighter, safer, and more equitable society for all.
Through my work with children and communities, I have personally seen how education can improve self- confidence, awareness, and chances for the future. This event has strengthened my belief that every child should have access to education, regardless of their economic status.
Food for everyone
Hunger is a stark reminder of the inequities crippling our society. Access to nutritious food isn’t just a privilege—it’s a basic human right. Yet people are deprived of it. By joining our cause, you’re not just fighting hunger; you’re advocating for justice and equality.
Education for everyone!
Education for everyone is not just a matter of fairness; it’s a definite cornerstone of progress and prosperity. It empowers individuals to break free from the cycle of poverty, enabling them to secure better opportunities, make informed decisions, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Come, let’s make education a reality for everyone.
Safe woman, safe society!
This is not just a slogan, but the need of the hour! I firmly believe that ensuring the safety and security of women is paramount to fostering a society where everyone can thrive. When women feel safe in their homes, workplaces, and public spaces, it creates a ripple effect that benefits society as a whole.
